Sweet Salty Sweat

Proud owner of these masterpieces posing with the artist

I bought these at MidValley yesterday from the "sporting artist" because the subject matter for his art piece would be all about sports and sportsmen. There is this exhibition going on there. It's cheap and it's original.
Simply inspirational. It's about time to relinquish the joy of being sweat all over again. Hmm got to find those running shoes back.

Opor-opor- kalau bole makan, aku makan kau

Opportunist is abound in this world i'd presume. I am not sure if by being so, we'd be bettter off or simply reduced to be the loathe of people.

A colleague of mine recently got the chance to see one of Malaysia's popular rock singer in the office. By see, i mean, to listen to his plight and understand what can be done to help - the task that i and two of my collegue supposedly (willingly or unwillingly) do on a daily basis. This colleague of mine ever so help+fooly entertained this glitterati guest as though he is trying to steal the limelight from my section which is tasked and specialised to do the mundane complaint taking. And by the way, he's from a different section.

The normal course of action for any given staff (of different section other than mine) in any given day when member of the public came to lodge complaint would be that they will come to my section and tell that "ada orang nak lodge komplen". Fine. Since we are tasked to do just that, we would go and see the public with smiling face.

I have no issue if at all he got to see the singer instead of me. After all, both of us work with the same intention and objective.
What fanned my deepest anger up was the fact that nobody and i mean nobody (accept for two who work with me in same section) would care enough to 'see' member of the public if the member of public is ordinary/lame/nobody/angry/sad/bitchy/smelly ect.

And the best thing of all is on that fateful day, NO ONE tells my section that a glitterati guest wanted to lodge complaint.

Pagi ni datang jumpa aku nak bagitau pasal benda yang dah berlalu dua hari lepas. Ko process la komplen tu sendiri! bodo. arghhhh!!!!!

Farewell to my Manager

Today will be my manager last day in the office. He will soon commence his new job as branch manager in JB. We will be missing you sir.

I remember him of saying that in life we have choice. We must always dictate what we wanted in life and how we are going to go about life in general.

I'll cherish that sir. Thank you.

a cause célèbre

And i quote,

"...television, as the poet T.S. Elliot warned in 1963, when the then-new medium was spreading into homes, permits millions of people to listen to the same joke at the same time, and yet remain lonesome". [Daniel Goleman, 'Social Intelligence' (2006)]

To MustheGreat, thank you for being inspirational.
To GrahaResidenku, thank you for being different.
To TanjungTualang, thank you for being what you are.

Have a great week guys.
